These bright and funny rugs can be made with your own hands. This rug is embroidered in the carpet technique with woolen threads, and you can also make a rug using pieces of fabric. Only 8 steps ...

This technique is also useful for the manufacture of patchwork rugs - see the link at the end - "Patch rug."

Step 1. Fold exactly in half a piece of thread (fabric).

Step 2. Throw the resulting loop on the hook.

Step 3. Thread the hook into the canvas (under the transverse thread of the canvas) so that its movable tongue is above the canvas.

Step 4. Lay the ends of the thread (fabric) in an open hook.

Step 5. Pull the hook slightly towards you to close the lock.

Step 6. Release the ends of the thread (fabric) and draw the hook with the thread (fabric) through the loop formed.

Step 7. Pull out the hook. The result was such a knot.

Step 8. Tighten the knot tightly with your fingers.

That's the whole technique!
