I’ll tell you how to sew a simple women's dress.

Hello everybody!
Today I’ll tell you how I sewed a long dress with a simple cut.
I had fabric lying since the summer, I could not think of what to do with it :) in the sense of what style to sew. I didn’t want to shred it, since the drawing was large and beautiful, I wanted it to be visible. The fabric was 2.7 m.
I have very few long dresses, so it was decided to sew a long one.
Such photo images spun in my head, and I began to draw a pattern.

That's what I managed to carve.
The top of the dress is a T-shirt, with tucks at the waist and a flared skirt as far as the width of the fabric allowed. From the front there is a detachable waist, behind a one-piece back.

Tucks started and cut to a width of 1 cm. Ironed. Buy scissors at the Burda store

I connected the top of the shelf with the skirt. Processed a seam on an overlock.

Connected shoulder and side seams, tried on.

I decided that you need to increase the neckline and make the armhole freer.

Making a slanting inlay for processing the neck and armhole.
We cut off a strip 4 cm wide at an angle of 45 degrees. We moisten it with water and iron and stretch the fabric, and so on the whole strip.

Fold in half and iron. Buy a special ironing sheet at Burda

And then what happened in half and ironed. Like in the photo.

And the second side as well.

Here's what you should get:

Expand.

We pin to the neck and sweep. Buy tailor pins at Burda Store

Attach along the fold line.

We close with a seam as in the photo.

We pin and sweep.

Lay a line of 1 mm from the seam.

Sweep and attach the zipper.

I finished the bottom edge of the skirt with a role seam on the overlock and the dress is ready.

The dress is very light, weightless and comfortable.
I liked what happened! I took the dress with me on a trip :)

I also had a fabric, black, to the touch like loose, dull, heavy silk. But the fabric is viscose. I decided to sew the same style, only the cutout in front and behind in the shape of V.

Sewed on the same principle. Only the inlay is 1 cm thinner, it is visible by 0.5 cm.
It was hard to sew on, but still it turned out.

The fabric is heavier and, when walking, it’s nice to hit the legs and rustle :) That's what happened.

Thank you all for your attention. Successful sewing experiments!
