A little mischief and charm of a strict and at the same time elegant classic white shirt will add an original platron made of satin ribbons in the style of a garon.

You will need:
✽ satin ribbon 5.20 m wide 2.5 cm
✽ sewing thread
✽ tailor pins
✽ scale bar
✽ centimeter tape
✽ scissors
✽ chalk pencil
✽ regular ruler
✽ elastic tape approx. 0.45 m wide 7 mm
✽ as a fastener accessories for a bra: 1 hook and 1 shoulder strap length adjuster 7 mm each
✽ template - A4 format
DIY silk tie
Step 1
Cut the lengths from the satin ribbon: 1x - 48 cm, 2x - 28 cm, 2x - 32 cm, 2x - 40 cm, 2x - 40 cm, 2x - 44 cm, 2x - 52 cm.
Fold all ribbons in half and iron.
Pin the first double-folded tape 14 cm long to the vertical middle tape 24 cm long, as shown on the template, and stitch it to the edge.
Step 2
Pin the second double-folded tape 14 cm long to the middle tape on the other side, as shown in the template, and stitch it to the width of the foot.
The open ends of the side tapes should always lie on the middle tape.
Step 3
Fold both ribbons with their front sides, open the free ends of the ribbons diagonally.
DIY asymmetrical bow tie
Step 4
Iron the seam allowances and pin over the stitched ends of the tapes.
Step 5
Pin the first double-folded tape 16 cm long to the middle tape on the left side above the first side ribbons, as shown on the template, and stitch it to the edge.
Pin the remaining ribbons and press them in (moving in increasing order), as described in steps 2-4.
Always stitch the first ribbon of the pair on the left side.
Step 6
Paste the last folded in half ribbons 26 cm long to the middle ribbon, rounding its upper ends.
What can be done from old ties
Step 7
To stitch the plastron vertically from the front side, laying the line exactly along the midline.
Step 8
Sew the elastic tape along the midline from the wrong side of the plastron.
At one end of the elastic tape, make a small loop.
At the other end, secure the length adjuster and hook.
