The magnetic mini-frame on the refrigerator can be made from one type of fabric or from several.

You can insert small photographs or pictures into such a frame made of fabric. And attach it to the refrigerator or magnetic board: magnets are hidden inside. In addition, this frame is two-sided: you can use it from the side that you like best! Magnets need small and flat, but strong to work through fabric and thin cardboard.

You will need:

- patches of fabric;

- scissors for fabric;

- Thin cardboard, ruler, pencil and paper scissors;

- floss;

- threads for sewing;

- needle for hand sewing;

- 4 small flat round magnets, strong enough;

- universal glue;

- clamps.

Step 1

The frame is double-sided, each side consists of 10 identical pentagons. Use the template or draw a pentagon yourself and cut out 20 identical pentagons from cardboard.

From the wrong side of the fabric, circle all 20 parts, add 0.5 cm allowances everywhere and cut out the details. In our example, one side of the frame is made of two kinds of fabric, the second - of the third kind of fabric. You can improvise.

Step 2

In the center of the fabric pentagon from the inside, put the cardboard part.Bend allowances one at a time and grab them at the fold with stitches. Handle all the details.

Step 3

Now we will sew the details in 2 frames. Fold the parts face to face, as shown in the photo, and sew with small stitches over the edge.

Try to grab the allowance fabric so that the seam is almost invisible from the face.

Sew two frames in two circles.

Step 4

Glue magnets to one of the frames from the inside with strong glue.

Add some glue from the inside and glue the two frames. Fasten with clamps.

Step 5

To give the frame a finished look, lay the seam forward with the needle of the mouline thread along the inner and outer edges of the frame.

To add a photo or picture to the frame, round the corners to him / her and place it under the frame, attaching it to a magnetic board or refrigerator.
