Bette Midler became the third heroine of an advertising campaign for the spring-summer collection of the American brand, in which director Lana Wachowski and stand-up comedian Sandra Bernhard also took part.

The new Marc Jacobs advertising campaign brought together completely different women - not models in the usual sense of the word, but rather divas, inspirers of the designer, all of whom are somehow connected with the film industry. Fans have been wondering for a long time who will become the next face of the brand, and now it has become known that after 50-year-old director Lana Wachowski, 70-year-old actress Bette Midler adorned fashion images.

In the commentary on the photo, Marc Jacobs shared with his subscribers memories of his acquaintance with the actress. The designer first heard about the American star when he was 9 years old, i.e., back in 1973. The future fashion designer was greatly impressed not only by Midler’s acting data, but also by her performances - we recall that the actress not only acts in films, but also sings.
“Her voice, her image, her charm amazed me,” wrote Marc Jacobs, admitting that he was often inspired by the glamorous style of the divine Miss M (as fans call their favorite actress).
