The Christian Dior show was held as part of the Paris Fashion Week on July 6 in the courtyard of the Rodin Museum.
The collection very successfully combines various styles and textures. So on the catwalk were presented bold asymmetric coats, and at the same time, romantic images in the spirit of the Middle Ages, dresses made of light translucent fabrics. However, the collection does not cause any contradiction: the designers presented the opposites very harmoniously, as part of a single whole.
Raf Simons, creative director of the Dior fashion house, said: "I was interested in the image of the forbidden fruit and its interpretation in the modern era, how the idea of purity and innocence is opposed to the idea of luxury and decadence, how these concepts are combined with each other in the context of the Dior garden."
We selected several models from the show and selected patterns for them.
