The young Russian designer Dina Agzamova became the main winner of the Fashion Start 2015 young designers contest.
Dina created the Dina Zamá brand in 2015 for active, self-respecting women who are independent and free to choose fashionable clothes. For them, their own individuality and, at the same time, comfort are important in order to feel as confident as possible in everyday life. That is why the basic principles of Dina Zamá clothing: design, comfort and compatibility of things. The debut collection of PRIMUM by Dina Agzamova (Latin - first) combines the images of the fantastic worlds of anti-utopias, the atmosphere of paintings by Hans Giger and the spirit of creativity of Alexander McQueen. This collection was conceived as an allegorical bridge between the present and the future. The designer revised the concept of business style and presented how it will change over time.
The first collection of Dina Agzamova is both concise in form and graphic in content. The main emphasis is placed on the shape of the products, which is enhanced by a combination of basic colors, hidden fasteners and the lack of bright decor. Geometric cut and sharp corners are softened by fused lines of reliefs, translucent fabrics and soft folds. The fitted silhouettes of jackets and vests, the slightly high waist level of skirts and trousers make the image more feminine and sexy.
Collection work
Of course, before the collection of five images was finally formed, a long way was done. The very first ideas of form and cut were born from free strokes of a brush on paper. These spots hide in themselves much more than can be seen at a glance. Complementing them with strokes and new lines, sketch by sketch, the designer created her first collection, determining the shape of the products.
After the form, it is time to determine the content, namely: fabrics, parts and product selection.
Fabrics
In the PRIMUM collection, preference is mainly given to natural fabrics: cotton and wool, because comfort is very important for a woman whose day is painted every minute.
Details
A bright accent of the collection is a print in the style of art deco, drawn by the designer Dina Agzamova. First, the drawing was created on paper with the help of markers, and then it was already transferred to the T-shirt.
Especially for photography, the vest and jacket from the collection were complemented by hand embroidery with beads and bugles.
Products
The PRIMUM collection includes 13 products that are perfectly combined with each other and suitable for any situation. Probably the most difficult thing for a designer is to find a balance between the unique design and functionality of the clothes. But even this was not the end of the collection process. The tailoring of the test samples was followed by photography and publication of a lookbook, as well as a show of the collection to professionals in the fashion industry, who, in turn, praised the products and the quality of tailoring.
Thus, a thorough study of ideas makes it possible to embody the three principles of the Dina Zamá brand in the final images: unique design, combinatorics and comfort, giving the woman pleasure from her appearance every day.
