Make-up remover
When collecting a sports makeup bag, it is important not to forget about makeup removers. The most convenient are cosmetic wipes and makeup remover milk, since they do not require water. For oily skin, by the way, it is even better - wipes with tea tree oil.
Shower
If possible, take a shower before training. To avoid the characteristic sports aromas, do not forget about deodorant, preferably odorless. But it is better to completely abandon toilet water, and especially perfumed water. In the fitness club, they are completely inappropriate.
Moisturizing
This is especially true if the room has air conditioning or central heating batteries. For skin of any type, light fluids and emulsions are optimal, which are quickly absorbed, do not leave shine and at the same time reliably protect against overdrying.
During training
FOR FACE. The only makeup you need during your workout is a bottle of thermal water. Matting napkins are useless. If the club has paper towels, then it’s better to get them wet. But with problematic skin, take bactericidal wipes with you. And under no circumstances wipe your face with a T-shirt!
FOR BODY.Some experts recommend combining the workout with body wraps: apply modeling or anti-cellulite paste to problem areas (hips, buttocks and abdomen), then put on special thermal shorts - and go burn kilocalories. It is believed that double exposure quickly returns to its shape, at the same time contributes to muscle tone, the withdrawal of excess fluid and skin nutrition.
FOR HANDS. Before training, grease your hands with cream and be sure to wear gloves (otherwise your hands may slip off the handle of the machine). Special cosmetic gloves made of natural cotton several times increase the effectiveness of the cream.
FOR HAIR. They should not interfere. Arm yourself with bandages and knitted ribbons. If the hair is long, collect it in a ponytail or bundle. To make the styling look neat, you can apply a little gel or varnish of medium fixation.
Tip: If you can’t refuse makeup, choose waterproof products. Mascara and light eyeliner will be enough. The skin must remain clean so that all the products of the sebaceous glands come to the surface, and not contaminate the pores.
After training
The best thing is to take a shower. After intense perspiration, the skin needs to be cleaned well. To save time, try shower oil or a washable body conditioner. These products cleanse and moisturize the skin.
It is useful to keep on hand the travel packaging of a universal cream suitable for the body, hands and feet. Product with glycerin, vegetable oils and extracts will always help out.
After training, it would be nice to use a modeling or anti-cellulite product. Preference is that they contain caffeine, carnitine, seaweed, horsetail and chestnut extracts. They have a complex effect: reduce body fat, tighten the skin, increase its elasticity, remove excess fluid. In combination with intense physical activity, the effect of cosmetics will be more pronounced.
But to restore freshness to the hair under the strength of dry shampoo, which absorbs sebum and sweat and makes hair more voluminous at the roots. The effect is enough for at least half a day.
Visitors to the pool
Regular visits to the pool, as you know, support the body in good shape, relieve back pain and bad thoughts, help to relax. But chlorine, which is still used in most sports centers, greatly dries the skin and makes hair more fragile. Therefore, we advise you to stock up on products that neutralize the harmful effects of chlorine. This means that moisturizing creams or gels for the face and body should not be applied at home in the evening, but immediately after swimming, after washing off the remaining chlorine in the shower.
The maximum effect is given by means with vegetable oils (avocado, shea, wheat germ, argan), seaweed, hyaluronic acid, chitosan. It is good if the cream contains glycerin, urea, malic acid - they restore and protect the skin from dehydration.
Special care is required for hair. Try to apply a little indelible conditioner or oil before class - this will prevent chlorine from penetrating the cuticular layer and also protect your hair from dehydration. After swimming, be sure to wash your hair and use the air conditioning again.
