Garbage made of funny animals sewn from colorful shreds will most likely attract your baby’s attention.

And for sure she will want to touch them, so use only natural fabrics, and between elephants or birds hang multi-colored wooden beads on an elastic band.

Elephants for happiness
Good-natured elephants amicably walk in a row after each other. Hand-painted wooden beads are strung on a cord with them.

WHAT YOU NEED: a cord 7 mm thick, 1 m long. Shreds of various cotton fabrics, for each elephant size. 18 x 30 cm. Ironing pad. Cotton wool for stuffing. Embroidery threads, needle. Round wooden beads diam. 4 cm, paint of different colors, colorless varnish, brush, cardboard.

HOW TO MAKE:
Elephants: patches strengthen non-woven. The motive (see photo on the right) is copied and increased or reduced to the desired size. Cut twice in the mirror image without allowances for seams. Chip the inside out to the inside. Sew the edges with cuff stitches, spacing 5 mm, depth approx. 4 mm. Leave a hole of approx. 3 cm for stuffing with cotton (or just leave the thread hanging). Fill the elephant with cotton and sew a hole in the seam. On top of the back, make a loop of embroidery thread approx. 2 cm
Beads: Insert a tightly folded cardboard strip 15 cm long into the holes of the beads.First, use a flat brush to prime the beads with white paint and let it dry completely. Then with a round brush draw on a bead multi-colored motifs. Let the paint dry and varnish.
Alternately beads and elephants strung on a cord. Fix the position of the beads in knots. At the ends of the cord, make loops and fix with knots.

To bird chirping ...

WHAT YOU NEED: a cord 7 mm thick, 1 m long. Various rags of cotton fabrics for each body of a bird of size. 12 x 20 cm, for legs size. 5 x 5 cm. The ironing non-woven. Cotton wool for stuffing. Embroidery thread, needle, sewing thread, ribbon made of taffeta 5 mm wide, 15 cm long. 2 round wooden beads in dia. 4 cm, as well as 2 oval wooden beads with large holes (diam. 2 cm) 3 cm long. Paints of different colors, colorless varnish, brushes, cardboard.
HOW TO MAKE:
Birds: flaps of fabrics reinforce non-woven. Motifs for the torso and legs of birds (see the following photos), copy and increase or decrease to the desired size. Torso twice, legs 4 times cut without allowances for seams in pairs in a mirror image. Cut out the legs 6 cm long, 3 cm wide. For the beak, cut 2 triangles with a side of 1.5 cm.
Fold the legs along the front inward. Stitch 1 cm from the fold. Turn out, stuff with a little cotton.
On 2 parts of the legs, glue the wrong side to the wrong side, put cotton inside, between the transverse marks, put the lower ends of the legs.
Sew foot parts with small “forward needle” stitches at a distance of approx. 3 mm from the edge (embroidery thread in 3 additions).
Sew the details of the beak from the inside to the wrong side of the needle.
Parts of the body, glue the wrong side to the wrong side. Insert the beak and the upper end of the legs between the transverse marks. Sew the edges with cuff stitches at 5 mm intervals, to a depth of approx. 4 mm. Leave a hole of approx. 3 cm for stuffing (or just leave a thread with a needle hanging). Fill with cotton, sew a hole in the seam. Sew a loop of approx. 2 cm

Alternately string the beads and birds on the cord, tie the knots between the beads. Lay the ends of the cord in a loop and tie it in a knot. Oval beads string on the knots of the loops of the cord.

WHAT YOU NEED: a cord 7 mm thick, 1 m long. Various shreds of cotton fabrics, for each monster size. 10 x 20 cm (for the body) and 5 x 5 cm (for the ears). Taffeta tape 5 mm wide, 15 cm long. Pressed non-woven fabric. Cotton wool for stuffing. Embroidery threads, needle, 4 round wooden beads diam. 4 cm, as well as 2 oval wooden beads with large holes (diam. 2 cm) 3 cm long. Multicolored paints, colorless varnish, brushes, cardboard.
HOW TO MAKE:
Monsters: tissue patches strengthened with non-woven fabric. The motive for the body (see the following photo) is copied and increased or reduced to the desired size. For ears, copy the motif of the legs of the birds from the previous photo.Torso motif 2 times, ears 4 times in pairs in a mirror image cut without allowances.
Chip 2 parts of the ears face to face, put cotton wool. Sew in small stitches "forward needle" at a distance of approx. 3 mm from sections (with embroidery threads in 3 additions).
Chop the body parts from the inside out to the inside, put the ears between the transverse marks. Sew the edges with cuff stitches with an interval of 5 mm, stitch depth approx. 4 mm. Leave approx. 3 cm for eversion (or just leave the thread with a needle hanging). Fill with cotton, sew up the hole. Embroider crosses in place of the eyes. Sew a ribbon loop of approx. 2.5 cm

Alternately string mini monsters and round beads onto the cord. Fix the position of the beads in knots. Fold the ends of the cord and tie it in a knot. String oval beads onto the loop knots at the ends of the cord.
