If you have full arms in the shoulder area, then the sleeve is unlikely to sit flawlessly. But to fix the pattern is very simple!

The “turning method” is an ideal way to change the pattern of a sleeve for a full arm. It allows you to increase the girth of the upper part of the arm without changing the line of okat.

Draw an auxiliary line from the transverse mark on the sleeve ridge (parallel to the direction of the shared thread) and a horizontal auxiliary line, as shown in Fig. 1 left. Cut the part in a vertical line from below to the top cut and in a horizontal line, respectively, to the side cut. Spread both upper parts of the sleeve by the missing number of centimeters (Fig. 2, right).

In order not to change the sleeve width along the lower cut, reconnect the lower parts of the sleeve along the lower cut. The edges of the horizontal section will slightly overlap.
Pay attention to ensure that this "approach" is the same on both sides, otherwise the balance of the sleeve will be disturbed.
Align the bottom cut of the sleeve. Draw a new line of direction for the shared thread exactly in the middle of the allowance (Fig. 3 left).

When changing the pattern of a two-seam sleeve, the same method is used, but only for the upper part. The lower part of the sleeve remains unchanged (Fig. 4, bottom right).
